Why doesn't the site save my login details?

Are you using Internet Explorer 6? If so, that is the problem... by default it installs with the Privacy settings set too high.

Do the following:

Click on 'Tools', then 'Internet Options' then select the 'Privacy Tab'. Move the slider until it is set to 'low'. This should solve the problem..

What happens is that our site will save a small file called a 'cookie' onto your PC that will remember your password and user time and use it each time you visit. The higher privacy setting chooses not to save this file... You will find setting to low will help you surf a range of sites!

You should also look to make sure that the site is not listed amongst your 'Restricted Sites'

May I have more than one username?

We do not allow users to have more than one username. The reason for this is that we do not want the site to become a place where users can hide behind many pseudonyms. If a site member has an opinion they wish to share they must do so under their original username. If a member wishes to change their username they may do so by contacting the webmaster. Anyone found to have multiple usernames risks having all their accounts terminated.

How do I add media to the Gallery?

CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE....

1. Click on the Gallery in the top right hand corner of the site.
2. Click On 'Submit Media' (next to 'Top 10').
3. Select A category.
4. Pick a name.
5. Enter a Description.
6. Browse for the file.
7. Click Upload.

How Do I add an Image to the Forums?

You have to link to a picture on the web, not upload it, this can be an image in the site gallery if you wish.

1. Find the web image you want to display in the forum.
2. Right click on it.
3. Copy the address.
4. Click on the 'Image' button when posting.
5. Paste the address.

People have been using 'Smiles' that are not available to me when I am posting on the forums, where can I find these?

I have just tried to log into the site and I received a 'Fatal Error' message, now I cant log in. What do I do?

To log in you will need to clear out your 'Cookies' in your internet browser.

To do this -

Internet Explorer 6 -
1. Click on Tools.
2. Click on Internet Options.
3. Open the 'General' tab.
4. Click the 'Delete cookies' button.
5. Click OK.

Internet Explorer 7 -
1. Click on 'Tools'.
2. Click on 'Internet Options'.
3. In the 'Browing history' section click on 'Delete'.
4. Click on 'Delete Cookies'.

Firefox -
1. Click on 'Tools'.
2. Click on 'Options'.
3. Select 'Privacy'.
4. In Private area click "Clear Now".
5. In 'Clear Private Data' window put the check mark for 'Cookies' and click 'Clear Private Data Now'.
6. Click OK.

Then login again.

How do I create a new forum topic?

1. Click on 'Forums' in the top right hand corner.
2. Scroll down and click on the Category where you would like to create the new topic.
3. Click on the Category.
4. Click on the 'New Topic' button above the list of topics.
5. Enter a subject and the first post.
6. Click 'Submit'.

How do I quote a message on the forums?

1. Find the message you would like to quote.
2. Click on the 'Quote' icon underneath the post.
3. Move the cursor to the end of the bottom line of text.
4. Hit Enter/Return
5. Type your message and click 'Submit' as normal.
